I am part owner of a new restaurant in Hays Ks, called Thirsty's. I put a pump and some pump doors that I re-did in for decoration. If you are in the area stop in, check it out and grab a bite to eat and have a cold one. Tyler It also has a sports bar in the back and a margarita bar in the front. Good Luck with the new venture bro. BTW, do you know the guy that owns Fort Hays Auto Sales (Tom)? He is a really good customer and a cool guy.

My brother knows Tom very well. The parts for the pump doors and the globes came from Vics 66.
Thanks Tyler

Man, I would love to sit at that 57' Chevy Hood and have a beer and look at that Hayes Pump in Hayes Kansas... Stopped and got gas a couple years ago right on I-70. North east corner in the '40 Ford. The guy working there said "I got something you might like" Him and I and my wife went to his house on the south side of I-70 and looked at a '55 Olds Convertible project he had for sale. Cheappppppp.....No didn't buy it, but I remember and wish I had! Nice looking place!!!!! We will stop by when we can. Larry in Edgewater, Colorado

Looks like a good place to stop and eat.
I just came through Hays a few months ago enroute to/from Hershey and to my surprise found a Golden Corral restaurant where the Mopar museum used to be!! I thought that would be my last stop in Hays. Looks like I have reason to divert again. Chuck
