Here is some of my BOTW thank to the Rex Benson auction. Rex and Nita were great host's and it was a fabulous auction with items that I have never seen before. The first is an original Mobil tire repair kit, when I first seen it listed in the auction catalog, I knew I just had to have it along with a NOS Mobil battery

Here is a Mobil tire, stand, and display sign.

A Mobil pricer sign handmade by a distributor. I need to clear some wall space to mount it to the compressor room

Can someone "expound" on the Purple Martin globe? That's one of the coolest globes I've ever seen.

Well here are my buys of the week. Some are from Rex's auction & a couple are not. So here I go.

I bought 3 globes at the auction. First is a Extron on a glass wide body.

Mobilgas Special on a wide body.

Last one from the auction is a Metro on a narrow glass body.

Last is a couple signs from feebay & my pit stop in Tennessee.

I have wanted on of these Texaco's for a long time. I waited & got a nice one "worth the wait".

Got this Gargoyle from feebay. It will be touched up in the black lettering. A cool sign.

Here are a couple can's I got from Rex. A Oneida 2 gal & Staroline White Star 1 gal.

Then a Vacuum Oil Co air tank.

Awesome stuff, guys!

I really like that air tank... and that Purple Martin globe.

Jeff, Did that Wadham's pagoda get torn down, or is it still around, and you just got the clock?

Wes,
Thanks for the compliment on the globe - Yes I only took the clock which I am not shure what to do with yet. The station is still standing and Glen Wadhams posted a picture of it on 1-15. The guys who now own it do not know what they are going to do with it yet, but it may very well be smashed. The pagoda roof is metal and is ok, the rest of the building is not doing so well. Glen looked into moving the building but the costs are quite prohibitive. As the owners are customers and freinds of mine I will keep everyone posted to it's fate.
And to answer ChevelleSS's post according to Scott B. this is the 4th Purple Martin ethyl he knows of to surface.
thanks - Jeff
