I am working on a pump project, and I am trying to make it as light as possible, I have the pump removed like everyone else does, but I would like to remove the computer to make it even lighter. Does anyone sell a set of gas pump numbers, I can put on the backside of the face plate? I actually have a set of the computer number wheels, but I haven't had luck with super glue, just too heavy, Does anyone know of any stickers or have any advice they could pass along?

Well you'd have to get a decal number sheet ant stick the numbers you want on a flat piece of metal then attach that to the back side of the face plate. I wonder why you would want to remove the computer though. You would have a turn back crank that doesn't do anything.

I have also been thinking about taking the computer out of the pump cabinet. The reason for this is to put shelves in the entire pump and use it as a cabinet, bar or whatever. rgds Claes

Well if you would like to just have the numbers showing at least take a piece of aluminum and curve it so it looks right or cut up a real number reel, it would look better than flat numbers!

My suggestion is to take the actual wheels then take a slice off of them which can be mounted from behind to at least look like the real thing. Flat numbers on a flat surface look just like that. The next thing to do is get creative with light bulbs mounted behind to give a realistic effect. However,I suppose it depends on the pump.
It gets down to doing something that pleases you. We can only speak for ourselves. Koz
