Please keep in mind "buys of the week" is for people to display items they have bought for there collection. Some people do not appreciate getting e-mails or posts wanting to know if an item is for sale. That is what ruins participation in our showcase section. If someone is interested in selling there item or items they can post it in the for sale section. If you buy items that are intended for resale please post them in the for sale section. This should help from people asking if item is for sale in buys of the week.
Thank you

Picked all this up before noon on Sat. Gilmore poster is cool but I really like the Jahn's sign, anyone seen one before? Would like to know what color it was before it faded.

Pretty good week for me on shakers.I got three sets from other oldgassers and the pures came from ebay. The clarks are my new favorites and should be since they are hard to find. By any chance do any of you know what version the pures are i have never seen a set of red and whites.

Originals only for me. Always looking for Simpson oil, Super A, and MFA oil cans and globes.

These are from Peotone. Wes Maxwell went out of his way to help me get the Kilrust sign. Not real old, but I love the graphics and the price, a tempting combination. Thanks, Wes.

The Ditzler wood box is from when Ditzler was an independent company, before PPG bought them. The early Ditzler items are hard to find. This was a gift from "gasoildude" on Shop Talk. Thanks, Brad.

The Ditzler Ditz-o quart can is from the 1950s. Much newer than the box.

The PPG Body Shop sign is rusted and bent, but I just had to rescue it to be a "barn hanger" on my future barn.

Added another Zephyr oil can to my collection. This one has the speed lines logo.

The R-M auto paint bank appears to be a commemorative piece from the 1980s with a 1950 design label.
