thanks to everyone who was interested in my bear 1! I sold not only the Socal one on eBay, but the Norcal that I had been planning to list next. So here instead is a Socal US-101 shield for everyone's enjoyment.

hmm, I should've left off the "2009" marking to incite up some activity on the boards wink

the bear 1 was all kinds of controversial, and I sold two of 'em off the one auction. Who'd like a California US shield with any number, logo, or reflector style?

They are all too busy on the A/C spark plug sign.

well then, ladies and gentlemen, pay no attention whatsoever to the A/C spark plug sign of dubious provenance!

Let us instead direct our attention here to this US-101 shield, whose authenticity is unquestionable ... yes, it may be unquestionably *false*, but hey, no controversy at all here - it's a replica, and if anyone dares claim it's one of those scurvy old originals, then I'll have their head on a pike!

Proudly constructed out of aluminum in this here year two-double-oh-nine, and certainly not to be confused with such low-grade products as those that were actually hung on the road for bears to eat, bullets to tear apart, and buzzards to crap on.

That's right, everyone - this one is aimed squarely at you, the discerning collector of rare economic virtuosity, who can't for the life of him understand why a shield half this nice would go for ten times the price.

Just 259.59 - Hell, even less than that, make me an offer and you might walk away with it. No need to spend your hard-earned cash on a tetanus shot, and I'll even ship it to you for free!

urrrgh! eBay took my auction down because I accept check or money order. Look for it to be relisted soon, with the payment methods described in a much more covert manner!

I hate paypal because it docks me 2.9% plus 30 cents. I ought to start giving free shipping for anyone that does not pay with flaypal!
