Steven, as long as you're happy with them, then you paid the right amount. This side of the rocker can looks pretty good, does the other side look the same or better? I've seen cans such as yours go anywhere from $50 up to a couple of hundred $$ depending on condition. Never have priced a box, so I'm even less help there. I think I can safely say, most of us wouldn't hesitate having the rocker and the box in our collections. My opinion is, you did well.

...Steven - either you got that can at the Raleigh Flea Market, or you got it from someone who did - I'd love to know who had it...I know, because I was there when the first time it showed up, I passed on it and another vendor bought it, after 'beating him up' over the price...the reason the can is faded is due to an ill-advised attempt to clean it...

...drop me an email next time you're in that area - I probably have something you could use...

Looking for better Gulf items: signs, globes, cans and paper - especially porcelain Gulf flanges, and Gulf A-38 & A-62 ad glass...

"Good" rockers seem hard to find. The ones that I have seen are either rusted, or way out of my budget.

Gulfirend, i was in Maggiey Valley at a gift shop and the owner had these on the wall. So we talk and he gave me a price.
