A nice chalkboard for the Service Bay area... I purchased this neat item... I have a display rack for Whiz Motor Rythm... I had 4 ounce, pints, and quarts on it but I had never seen this small can before... I added to my poster collection this week... they're all 28"x43"... and a group of Zecol cans...

I picked this up over the weekend. The entire cabinet is porcelain, including the mobil logo. Inside the cabinet there is writing in german. It is in fantastic shape. There are only a couple fingernail size chips. Does anybody have any information about this? Has anyone ever seen anything like this?

HI, I have seen them for sale at some European Petro sites. It appears as if the Germans quite often had porcelain gas pumps, oil pump cabinets and cabinets for oil cans out on the pump islands. I have also seen cabinets in BP and Esso. Have a look at: http://www.thefiftiescorner.ch/neu/FR1.htm and also at: http://www.petromobilia.ch/if you click on gas&oil, Mobil and gaspumps, you'll find another one much like yours but a couple of years newer. Also on the Esso/gaspumps there are a couple of nice cabinets Br Claes
