Does anyone know the correct color combinations for a 300 Tokheim used for Cities Service? Thanks, Jimmy

Here are some ad showing the color they used. But, these green and red stripes were not painted on, they were a decal, I know because I sandblasted a number of them and it was a bear to get the decals off.

Looks like a Tokheim 39(1952).

Looks like an Erie (1951)

Erie pump, (1956)

Wayne's (1959)

Since the Tokheim 300 was introduced in 1955 any one of these would apply. Incidentally, none of the 50+ ads I have show any Cities Service pumps with globes on them????

All the above are either ads or were taken from ads for Cities Service or Citco. Any of the above or 100s more of any oil company ads are available, just email me.

I think I have a gal. of Cities Service paint at home. Most of the label is gone and it has never been opened so I don't know what color it is. It's probably not any good to use but you may be able to match the color. Pay the shipping and It's yours if you want it.

While I don't have a paint code match on the Cities Service pumps , Jack is correct on the decal issue . Kool motor regular was a Green . 5- D premium was a red and the Super Premium that only lasted a few years was a bright Yellow . Ed Shaver

DB,
We are both wrong, by the time of the ad they were A.O. Smith pumps.

Thanks Jack, and to the others for their comments. The tag on it appears to be dated 9-55 so I guess it is an early one. Do you know how many years they were built. Thanks, Jimmy
