asking $225 for this VERY NICE WAVERLY MOTOR OIL CAST IRON BASE AND POLE. 19.5IN IN DIAMETER AND STANDS ABOUT 33" TALL WITH POLE. VERY NICE CONDITION....IT WAS PROBALLY INSIDE MOST OF ITS LIFE, AS IT HAS ALMOST NO SURFACE CORROSION. NO SIGNIFICANT DAMAGE, GRINDER MARKS, CHIPS, CRACKS, BURN MARKS, POLE IS NOT WELDED IN (ITS THREADED). ALL LETTERS ARE EASILY READABLE, NONE HAVE CHIPS, ECT. POLE LOOKS TO BE ORIGINAL, BUT CAN NOT BE SURE. IT WEIGHS 40LBS WITH THE POLE. ....AND I CAN SHIP WITH OR WITHOUT POLE!!! I WOULD NORMALLY SAVE AN ITEM LIKE THIS FOR CARLISLE OR HERSHEY BUT I AM TRYING TO RAISE A LITTLE EXTRA $$$ FOR MY NEW 1967 SUBURBAN THAT WILL BE ARRIVING NEXT WEEK. thanks gasoildude. i initially thought this would fly right off of here. now im thinking its too rare.....there can't be too many of these still around and the base does not have much displayability without the sign. i see the coke, texaco, mobil, pennzoils all the time in the 125-150 range. oh well, thanks for the input!!!
