DON'T KNOW MUCH ABOUT THIS PUMP ,MY QUESTION IS ,THE BASE, IT LOOKS LIKES ITS MISSING SOMETHING??? OR SOMETHING SHOULD BE THERE, IS THIS CORRECT?I WANT TO BUY THIS PUMP,THE SKINS SEEM ALRIGHT! AND I DON'T HAVE MY BOOK BUT ASSUMING THE CYLINDER IS NOT THERE ,AND MAYBE A BASE,IS 400 TO MUCH FOR THIS? I DON'T WANT TO ***** THE GUY OFF TOO BAD WITH MY OFFER ,I WAS REALLY THINKING 300 ,BUT...................IT LOOKS LIKE IT NEEDS ALOT! THANKS FOR THE INPUT FELLAS!

It looks to be a Wayne 615 They have a repo base a gaspumpheaven.com the only difference is the repo has no bolt holes to lag it down with but there is a spot where u can drill them.

YES there should be something else there...THE BASE!! Try Ron Scobie ( www.gaspump.com)...he makes his pieces out of cast iron...not aluminum junk like so many others. Good Luck!!

Are you sure the base isn't just buried in the dirt?? It wouldn't sit there very well without it. Dig down a little, I bet its there!
Pumps in that condition are worth about $300 to $400 tops. You can buy a pretty fair one with a cylinder for $8 to $900. Handle is worth $100 if its nice. A set of nice markers might bring $100. The top should bring $70----You get the idea, now go dig down and see if the base is there!
If its not, and the pipes are rotted off, then look at it as a parts pump and purchase accordingly. Good Luck!

Looks like the pump mech. has been replaced w/ something other than a WAYNE.

Diesel, You won't go wrong at 400.00. I have bought and restored a number of these 615's. I have paid more than 400 for pumps in the condition. I would take it for 400.00

The pump handle looks like a fry speedboy "73"
I think today with money bein short like it is, no more then 275-300.00
