I have an old service station NCR cash register that I could use some information on. It has keys for tires, oil service work plus many others. Reads out $9,999.99. Everything works and has the keys. Just do not know much about its history. Thanks

Just wondering if there is any call for these. It has been sitting around my garage for quite awhile and do not want to scrape it if there is somebody interested in them. Thanks George

Personaly, I have two, though neither one is from a service station. I'd love to add it to my collection, but shipping would kill me. I REALLY want a service station model though....
Cash registers are collectible in their own right. Brass models, bring substatialy more than the electric models, modern electronics, bring even less.
Please dont scrap it....

For those trying to put together a replica station, its a necessary piece! The really old brass ones are especially neat but then, I really like old brass stuff! No idea on value but they're like anything else, whatever you can talk someone else into paying!

You cannot compare a brass cash register to a woodgrain model. Two totally different animals! Cash register collectors will not even look at a painted model. It has some value to the gas and oil collector of course....but should not be over $100. I just sold my two brass registers and the collector would not even comment on the gas station version painted register sitting next to them when I asked him about it. Don't throw it out....you won't get rich, but someone will want it. Maybe Craiglist? Jim

Don't scrap it. Someone will want it, but it doesn't have much value.
