well as you can see it was kinda rough well,i probably paid too much for it,but less than a repro would have cost me.i dunno, the tex eythl really popped for me,and it may be awhile before i could afford a real nice one.so i did a little resto(basically,i cut a metal disc,to cover to the edge of the letters and spray painted the edge.repro narrow glass body and voila!!) on the better lens.you guys, its amazing how close rustoleum safty red is to the texaco color!!changed the brand on my wayne and like the look!! then i thought to myself"self, what are ya gonna do with that crummy lens and beat up body?"so since i had another wqayne 515 that wasnt restored,i thought i would go the "farm fresh"look!this pump had the pump out of it when i got it,and a skin off,no handle.took all the old screws, signage and handle from the 1 i restored, and started putting it together. still gotta put a hose and nozzle on it.have to find a good spot for it when i get done!!maybe make a good cabin pump!!so for less than the price of a repro,i got a couple of displys !and the kicker is,i got all of the maps from the same guy for nothing!now i dont feel so bad!!LOL
Looking for gas,oil related clocks, especially neon and spinners .clock repair available. Mick

Looks good Mick! Looks better than what FedEx did to the one I sent Kevin I shouldn't have made the Jarvis joke in my for-sale ad. Double boxed, globe wrapped in a big ball of foam, set in more foam, packing peanuts and inflatable packing thingys... fragile stickers all over the outside of the box.. still a busted lense At least it was insured.
