Dean sent this image in. He wants to know the age and value of this Rislone thermometer.

Hmmmm. . .

I'm not a man to price things. If I were, I could afford a lot more things I've wanted to collect.

Rislone was available in the mid-60s, I know for sure. Whether it was available before then, I do not know. I KNEW that name is familiar. Would you believe, though, that I used an old bottle of Rislone loosen some rusty bolts on my 96C??? It's probably pretty rare, but I don't know how many people collect lubricant-related items. Hard to find, yes, but desire?? It does have a nice big graphic!

Thanks Chris. I was just curious if anyone had seen one of these. A friend of mine gave it to me. I figured maybe $50 or so. Just thought it was neat. Thanks again, Dean

This thermometer is listed in the price guide Advertising Thermomemters copyright 2001. It is listed as being from the 1930's and is priced at $350 to $400. I do not know how accurate that price is as I have never seen one sell.
