anyone have a picture of the bars that these mount to so i might be able to fabricate something similar ? thanks

Those signs generally have a piece of aluminum channel thats about an inch wide on the back. A Long sign like that will probably have to be done in at least 2 sections.
Just lay the channel on a smooth surface and line up the letters and then mark everything for spacing and you should be good to go! Won't be an easy job because of all the holes and the alignment but take your time and it should go smooth! Good luck!
