Well I was looking to buy a pump to restore and sell to help feed my habit and I guy answered my want ad. He has a pump that has never been outside. He said its a Wayne pump that was inside a large building that housed the hydro dept. He said the building even had an elevator to lift some of the trucks to a second floor. They were getting rid of the pump and he bought it with the intent to restore it sometime. It sat in his garage till yesterday when i brought it home. It has the original, paint and nozzle. The pump plate was missing but I had a decent original. The other side wasnt drilled for a plate. It is a non computing pump. I gave it a coat of wax but now I dont know wether to keep it or sell. There is a threaded rod on the top instead of a globe, could it been there for a spinner?

Steve:

Very cool! That pump I'd leave original.

I only have one pump in my stable that I plan on leaving original. Everything else will be restored.

Later . . .

Jim

I FEW YEARS AGO I BOUGHT AN INSIDE WAYNE 90. IT WAS VERY CLEAN EXCEPT FOR THE PAINT OF THE TOP WAS A BIT BUBBLY.

Put new ad glass in it, globe on and leave it as is. I think it would be worth more in as found state.

Thanks, Phil

Did they ever use it? I don't think it would have looked any better if it had spent 50 years in my garage. If you would like, we could try it and see! LOL..GREAT LOOKING PUMP!

Can't believe the red paints not pink must have been utilized in a mine out of the light!
