Hello gentleman, I need a little help. A friend of mine has acquired a Bennett 966 that is missing the Veeder-Root computer. At this time there is one on eBay up for auction. He has asked me if I think it is the right one and to be honest I’m just not sure. So, any help would be appreciated, see picture.

Thanks,

Bill

Nope that's not it
The one he wants is like yours in your 646.

The one in the pic is for a Tokheim.
If it has a triagular piece on the side.

646, 766, 966, all took the same crankback computer
1066 took a semi automatic.
I can sell him a rebuilt outright for $180.00 shipping not included

I know the 1066 uses the Model 56 Automatic reset model computer, I THINK the 966 uses the same also. This is a very easy computer to work on. I have several at my house now.
