The holes were for a real shallow display area or a lighted insert advertizing gasoline, oil, etc.
Yours looks to be designed for the ad glass panels - see the sockets (with missing protector cages) at the upper edge of the opening and the little tabs to hold in the glass?

Check out page page 279 of the Pump Bible.
Looks to be arouund 2k in value (unrestored).

I would guess someone would give $3500. I agree with Jim looks to be the lightup version.

It's the light up version. I got it home yesterday. Should be a fun restoration.

It's a double sided light up version for sure. As far as price, I'll bring it to Escalon just because it's too heavy to unload by myself. If someone wants it for $3500, I might consider it.

Is it just me or is the visi gauge look "cut down" looks 2" short to me?
