Just moved my 2 year old into the same room as my 8 year old son. I definitely have one picker on my hands and another in training as far as the boys are concerned. The 2 girls are jealous, but that is just because their room isn't all the way completed yet.

VERY COOL JASON. NICE TO HAVE FOLKS LIKE YOU, HUH?

WHEN I STARTED COLLECTING COCA-COLA IN 1972 AT THE AGE OF 12, I HAD SOME SIGNS THAT I REALLY HAD TO BEG MY PARENTS TO ALLOW ME TO HANG ON THE WALLS. SOON AFTER IN MY LATE TEENS, I HAD SIGNS NOT ONLY IN MY BEDROOM, BUT THE GARAGE AND BASEMENT AS WELL. LOL!

I have never been much on the Chevron stuff before but that pump looks awsome. Love the patina on it. Keep it just like it is. What is the history on Chevron? How far does it go back? I just saw someone paint an old school Chevron logo on an old hotrod the other day and it looked great!

Thats pretty neat Jason, you know you just gave your 2 year old 6 year jump,on his teen years. I roomed with 3 year older brother, with bunk beds, without railing on top.Every once and awhile, would toss and turn, and roll off, crashing to floor. Some things you never forget!

Dick - sometimes you have to do whatever you can to hang signs in the house. LOL My wife is good about making those boys make their beds - yes even at 2!

That Cheveron pump had all the original glass in it. I just matched the existing paint for the globe (blue, a little red, white, and green). I cleaned the pump, gutted, and re-wired it. It has a clear coat over the top to preserve the paint. There is green, white, red, and blue colors on that pump. ....All the colors that Cheveron used for it's different grades of gasoline over the years. That one has too much history in it to ever restore, and it will stay as is, as long as I own it.

If you notice, there is a Carter quart can on the shelf. That was a gift to my son Carter on his first birthday from my Mom and Dad. The cars on that shelf have been collected by my 8 year old son Hayden when he goes to Gas Bashes with me.

Very cool man, looks a lot like my room (with the exceptions of the neatness smile )
Me and my 3 brothers also shared a room when we where little, but my oldest brother is 12 years older then me. He had a matress that pulled out from under the bunk beds and we would always jump on him reall early from the top bunk. I bet he was happy when he got his own room.
