I have been collecting mini-banks for about 10 years, and have never seen a Polly.eBay auction Number 300552723932. Any thoughts?

What's the white line at the bottom? Looks like a wrap job maybe!

I've collected banks for 20 years and have never seen or heard of one of these except for repos. The bank looks to good for as rusty as the top is. My bet is that it's a wrap.

FANTASY. Old Bank can w/ a Fantasy label. This can should have ONLY 1 parrot & 2 Yellow squares w/ text. Background should be BLACK, this appears to be Dark Blue. WHY is the Top all Rusty & label looks Fresh? NOT ONE OF MY COPY/FANTASY CANS.

there is something very odd about that print. note the pixelization most apparent on the head of the parrot.
I do not know if original Polly parrots were pixelized like that, but this appears to me to have been printed from a computer.

I have a 28" Monitor & when I Enlarge to max [making 1st picture close to 18" tall, scrolling to see entire image], there is no pixelization. Time for you to Replace your Monitor!

the image is a total of 590 pixels high - at some point, further enlarging will provide no detail. my monitor is 21" I think and I do believe the photo is detailed enough to show actual pixelization in the print of the parrot.
that said, it may just have been the artist's style - I haven't looked at all that many parrots... anyone have detailed photo of an original parrot? Dick's photo is just barely too small for me to work with. Something 3x as large would be ideal.
