Hey you Chicago area guys see the 400$ Bennett clockface the guy sold to pawn queens, they spent 1700$, turned it into 3700$
was on TLC tonite 5/5/11 tt

I dont care what anyone says - I think some of that stuff is totally fake... dont get me wrong, I love those guys - but come on now it's hard to believe that people are THAT desperate.

All those shows are scripted to an extent. I didn't see that episode of Pawn Queens. They are based in northern IL.The economy is in the toilet in many areas of Illinois and yes, there are people that are that desperate.

I saw it. They got it for $400! Even though one panel had to be refabricated due to rust through, it was in decent shape.
Keeping in mind that I am no expert, the restoration seemed very reasonably priced and turned out great. I didnt like that they did it in Sinclair, but it looked really good.

Saw it, Randy Ross was on the episode as the expert. Was going to call him after I saw it, but didn't. Randy did a real nice resto on it though.

Well a little dose of reality for them this week! They bought stolen jewelry and a made in Korea repo pedal fire truck! lost money on them!
