I stumbled on a Stanavo sign that reads "Stanavo Gasoline and Oil" "Distributed by Humble Oil and Refining" Sign is very large approx. 4' x 9'. Have been unable to find even a photo of another Stanavo sign. I have discovered that Stanavo was and aviation brand in the 30's. Did I stumble onto a rare gem here? I would post a photo, but have not figured out how. Could email a photo if anyone is curious.

Photo sent, I think. Thanks for your help. Ive been on the site for a while but have been kinda quiet because I dont know how to post photos of anything. I just felt this sign was too cool to keep to myself.

I think Stanavo was distributed by several oil companies, Standard, Humble, ect.

Distributed by esso over sea's , "STANDARD AVIATION OIL =STANAVO, produced aviation fuel & oil ,also produced aviation spicific grease .Amelia Earhart pushed stanavo and apeared in advertizing/ad's in the 30's. Here are some some ad's that you might also find helpful!Oldgas member oldducthgas has a stanavo aviation oil can "1 quart" that was posted last month "apr 22" ,it can be seen in the forsale section !
