I'm a newbie to this forum..looking forward to connecting with fellow members..

Wondering if anyone might know if there are any markings that would identify a " True " station Lighter assembly for a Wayne 60 and an apx value of this piece if one was available>

Thank-you

The Wayne 60 was being Phased out of production when the Station Lighters were being produced in 1938.
Similar to the globe holder [2nd from the right], Wayne also made one w/o the globe holder.
[Shown w/o Bonnets so upper brackets can be seen]

Really appreciate this information, I'm about to close a deal on a wayne 60 completely finished with what appears to be an original station lighter and in excellant shape.

I've noticed from the pictures of the pump I'm looking at that the pump does not have the Wayne globe top adapter, the piece that curves over the top and down the front and back of the top shoulder.. it does however have what I would say is a globe top adapter to allow the station lighter to mount to the top of the pump..

Would you know if when a station lighter was affixed to a wayne 60 that there was indeed a different mount, that the large aluminum curved globe top adapter was not in place when you had the lamp station lighter..

Thank-you

Only the Wide Frame 60 had the Fancy Globe holder, but have seen the Banjo Harp station lighters mounted to the other globe rings.
Unlike what others have said, the Station Lighter was bolted to the frame of pump, not just to the globe ring w/ 3 small set screws.

Check the top of of Station Lighter, it should look like these. IF it's different, it's a repo [originals Banjo's [globe holder] approx $1200, Repo's $400].

I do believe the station lighter is original and does look like the pictures you send ( by the the way thank-you for them) even has the tag still mounted on the lighter..

The unit I'm buying is a wide body, it doesn't have the fancy globe top adapter, the one that moulds over the front and back on top of the pump, it just has what appears to be the round globe top holder and I was wondering if that would be normal given that you've said it actually mounted directly to the pump rather than with the small set screws.. It this the way the top of the unit would then appear?

If so as I do like the moulded globe top holder from an appearance point only, would you know if I can use this type in conjunction with the station ligher?

Thank-you for your assistance/expertise..
