Yes it is true, my wife side swipped our mail box in my truck so now I gotta sell a gas pump to pay for the damage.
I recently bought this Bennett 646 off old gas website and now I am gonna offer it for sale. The pump has had an older restoration. It is in pretty good shape but does have some dings and scratches. The base on the pump also isnt attached. I am asking $1000 obo with the reproduction globe. I live right off interstate 75 in Central Kentucky and about 2 hours north of dixie gas.

Bet She said You planted the mail box too close to Driveway! LOL

I am not a repair expert, but is the damage creased? Wonder if they could "pop" it out. i hear more body shops being able to do that.

I dont think that dent is a candidate for PDR (paintless dent repair).

I would be having her sell something of her's.....call PDR they can pop that
Cities service, Vickers, Gas and Auto neons, next exit/ ahead signs and now I'm getting into globes....

Dick, it doesn't seem right i know!
The damage is really much worse than the picture shows. There is a crease from the dent to almost the tail light.

With these thin beds there using on these trucks dents and creases are hard to get out without paint losss. Sorry to hear about your incident but at least no one got hurt.

Looked like someones laundry strung out like a Trotline in the river after Irene this past week in Pa.! Might check your undies for critters before wearing!
