Can anyone tell me if this is an original sign or a repop? he say's he thinks it is pre war. e-bay item 7151322089 thanks Mike

I have had several of these in the past. I am suspicious as it appears to be packaged exactly like the ones I had, shrink wrap over cardboard. If so it is probably a repro from 10-20 years ago. The originals I have seen had quite vivid colors compared to the repop. This would be a close call but I would want a guarantee until seen. I just sold a repop for $30 so the price now would be about right. An original should go for $200 to $250.

Mike, IMO it is impossible to determine if this is an original or not.
Ask about the edges of the sign. Original Veedol signs are punched from the back, which gives edges that are sharp at the front side. There are no bends on the edges on originals. Repros often have bent edges all around!
