I just got my copy of CTO today... 'bout time! There was an article on the Fred Stokes gas bash that so many of the oldgas guys went to. In the article there is a picture of one of the nicest pumps I have ever seen.
To bad CTO did not list the builder's name, it was our own Larry Ivy.
So for you guys who got this month's issue check it out. It is the Gilmore wayne 60. That pump is so nice it could have won a car show! It really was art. Nice to see one of the OG guys in CTO. Now if they could have got a shot of Hubba in there, that would have been cool.

I remember the good old days when gold was worth more than rust!

Hey Elvis, I took the photo's & supplied Carl the info for the article. Carl & I did this while driving to pick up a display case a while back. I'm surprised that he remembered as much as he did. (I'm surprised I remembered as much as I did!) I told him that Larry did the pump but guess it slipped by. However you did notice that Carl mention me as making the "WORST" buy of the show didn't you? Anyways, we'll see you guys at Fred's in June!!

Yeah Tom, I missed that nice "sign" you got... I guess you can still call it a sign huh? I don't know at what point a sign becomes just old sheet metal but I think that one is close, lol!
It was cool to see that pump again... still think Hubba should have a feature in CTO. Maybe "Gas Geek or just a freak"... readers vote!
