Below is a photo of a Chevron Station in West Jordan with three pumps.I believe I have the first two correct. Blue side panels on the Wayne 70 for the first pump and Red side panels on the Wayne 70 for Supreme. I do not know what would the Wayne 60 be. It looks like the same decal as the first pump on the left but I am uncertain. Did they three grades of gasoline in 1948? Any help appreciated. Uploaded with ImageShack.us

With te 60, up against the building, it might be waiting for somebody to take it away. I mean, it has been replced by a 70, right? Just a bit of food for thought... Take a look here, see if any of this will answer you questions. http://oldgas.com/forum/ubbthreads.php?ubb=showflat&Number=81688#Post81688

The Wayne 70's could be Chevron cream and green...... there are some around here with that color combo..... the only other colors that I've seen locally are either solid blue or solid red.

The Wayne 60 is probably dispensing kerosene or stove oil. A station I worked in kept it in an above ground 250 gallon tank inside the service bay, and used a pump just outside the door as a transfer pump.

According to "Guide to gas pump restoration", the colors of the chevron pumpps would differ if the station was owned by Chevron or by a jobber. IIRC the cream is for Chevron owned and as thjvintage said, there was also red or blue that would be for a jobber owned station. Anyone with the book at hand who can confirm (at work now)? br Claes

With a name like "Marks Service", and the style of the building, I'm betting that its a independant. So as huskybob said, cream & green.
