HELP - I am making a display case out of an old lubester for our grandson to display his collectible model trains. The display case will be lighted inside and I want to attach an 8" globe to the top of the pump housing. I need and 8" globe with flat removable faces that I can stencil the "L" for Lionel on. I would like the globe body to be blue if possible. Any help on sources will be appreciated - I have struck out with all vendors tried so far.
Thanx - Dud

Make your own. Get a Piece of 8" O.D. PVC pipe to use as the globe body and a 2" O.D. piece of PVC pipe a couple inches tall for the base of the body. Then get a pair of 8" plexiglass circles cut. Paint the Body the color you want and paint the plexi. I dont know how well light will shine through it though.
