I am looking to see if anyone can give me any information about a Bowser pump. I can read what I believe is a model number - C81H. I have searched for this model number but I can' t find any iformation or images that look like it. Does any one know if this actually a model number? It is in good condition with a Texaco sign on it.

Jason--I couldn't find it in the pump ID book but if you'll post a picture, I'm sure someone will have information for you. If you don't know how to post pictures, send it to me and I'll post it here for you. send to: kwfrith@gondtc.com
I just read your header again--C-81 or C-31?????
The 81 was a 1926, ten gallon, square bodied visible. It is located on page97 of Jack Sims pump Identification book. (second edition) If you don't have this book, I'd recommend getting one, as every pump ever made that is known to man, is listed.---

Looks to me like someone put a different top cap on it...black part looks wrong. But definitely a pump that doesn't come up for sale very often. I looked a LONG time for mine.

Black part does look wrong. There should also be a little crank handle over one of those circles by the gallon dial. The little circle should be a keyed lock for the little handle. Hope that helps. Kent.
