Built in 1965. Interesting thing happened to me at last year's Barrett Jackson Auction in Scottsdale. I had two earlier versions restored with crash lights attached to the top. When I bought them, they were being used at a small local airport so the lights were markers for night fueling. Anyways, a gentleman stopped in front of one and said to me, "you know, these pumps never came with lights?" I explained about the airport and the assumption that they were added? He introduced himself and informed me that he had personal knowledge as he had been the CEO of the company, for a number of years. He said that he took part in most planning and developement sessions as well. Moral of this story.....I could have had an elaborate story about the special lights....which would would have been a fabrication. In my case, I am always truthful. Because of that I was able to meet and have a conversation with someone who could share information on a subject, I find most interesting. Paul www.severngaspumps.com

Wilson pumps are shown on pages 343 to 348 of my Gas Pump Identification book. There is also a history of the company shown in the front of the book on page 24.

Information about the book can be found at: www.petrocollect.com

Never know who you are talking to, so honesty is always a good policy. When I was a kid, my Mom used to tell me that Jesus was going to return someday and he might look like a hobo, or the new kid down the street, so I should treat everyone the way I wanted to be treated. My Mom was pretty smart!

Gasboys were used at trucking concerns, farms and small airports. Pretty much anywhere that needed to pump gasoline but not keep track of a cash sale, as is done with public use pumps. Paul www.severngaspumps.com

Toonman,

You've got to be kidding with that globe on a Gasboy.

I guess that a dealership could have used them as well? I have seen old pumps at dealerships to fuel new cars for delivery....good thought. Paul www.severngaspumps.com

My Grandfather told me this was on the farm in 1957 when he bought the place.
I have the first gas pump I ever used. Dawn @ Big Cheese fixed the face.

"GASBOY" on the Nozzle. "ROTOBOY" on the ID Tag on the crank handle. NOS Wooden Handle from Gasboy Atlanta.
They just happened to have an old warranty lying around. He said the pump did not work and was returned immediately.
Lucky for me.
I did the resto over a decade ago. This is the only Gasboy Rotary Hand pump I have seen with a clock face.
I can not find any info on it.
