Great looking globes guys! The Hi Speed Blue Flash is extremely rare and Richard's Socony Kerosene is a new discovery. Let see some more.
I said I wanted to see ANY globe you bought in 2011. The good, the bad, and the ugly. I'll post some of our "ugly" globe purchases tonight.

Jarvis asked a good question, are there globes that are ugly? Beauty is in the eye of the beholder, how much you pay for a globe is also a factor in ugly vs. beauty. The broken Hosco single oval lense is not that beautiful but a friend gave it to me and it looks good with the rest of our oval globes. The Kerosene oval, well you let me know what you think!

I got them from an older gent that said he had held onto them for years. He wasnt very chatty. They're 15". I welcome any info that someone might share.

Dan, I really like that Hancock Products globe, nice globe and one that is seldom offered for sale.
Jarvis, how do you feel about ugly globes now?

Still don't see anything ugly. LOL Little fade adds a little character... just don't restore it and ruin it!

I'm not really a globe collector but I found that I purchased three during 2011 and here they are. Love those Trackage and Kanotex Aviation globes....Dale
