I found the remains of a 1925 or 26 Raymond B for sale not far from me that is missing skins, cylinder, crank, and probably a few other pieces.

I found pictures in Jack's book but no where else. frown Anyone have pictures of one?

Anyone have any idea of what size cylinder fits it (10 Gallon). I don't have measurements of the caps to help. I suspect I would have to build skins from scratch but the door and crank might be a lot more difficult to find.

I appreciate any insight, leads or thoughts smile

With 14 hrs left, why dont you wait till you get it before you try to find a cylinder for it. Then you could measure what you need. Figure on at least 4-5 hundred for the cylinder and the trouble to make/get the skins ,pump handle/crank ,door, hose ,nozzle and what ever else. Quite a little project. The pump does have kind of a cool stance.(looking in Jacks book). Good luck. At over 2 hundred, Its already close to my limit. Maybe not yours
Looking at it again, that pump sure looks like you would need a tall cylinder for it.-Kinda tough to find...

I am thinking it is pushing the limit based on what I can see it needs. Not sure I really need another project, but I agree it does have nice look to it in Jack's book.

I have been scouring the Internet this morning and have drawn a compelete blank smile

I'm thinking its a seldom seen pump, at least around here. I really never see tall tens around this area. I'd really like to have one ,but like you I need another project like I need another hole in my head.

That thing went for more than I wanted to give! Lol. Someone has their work cut out for em and will have more invested than just waiting and finding a more complete one and paying top dollar.

The auction has not even ended yet??? You have a crystal ball your looking into? laugh

I would be a player at $300 like it's at now
...but the guy wants it gone ASAP.

I see a lot of good parts there...not to mention the nice looking gate valve, and cast iron top. Definitly enough to work with to restore. Many restorers have the skills to do the work themselves....avoiding paying $$ hour to have it done.

Wierd- I swear I looked at it and it ended for 305. and I thought that was pretty reasonable. Now I look at it and its 460. I guess it wasnt over yet.

Sold at $460 last night, but not to me smile Looked like a good start to a project, but I have a couple of other projects in process that I really need to "finish".

I hope it went to someone here. If so, keep us posted on the progress.

Yes I have a crystal ball that told me it was gonna surpass my bid. And it did. It did have some good parts and I woulda paid the sold price if it was to my door. But it wasnt. Shipping was gonna be 180 bucks and made it more than those pieces were worth to me. Hope someone enjoys it and finishes it! Would love to see done pics!
