I'm looking to buy (or trade) for this style of steel body
that holds one 15" dia. convex glass ad lens in front with
a snap ring.
I'm interested in complete signs or just the body, and I
will pay very generously!

Never saw anything like that. I assume its for display. Maybe someone should repop those, looks like a good idea for displaying a single lens.

I have not seen one of these yet that held a gas lens, they were 1930s lighted display signs for beer, wine, bread, and paint
(are what I've seen advertised in them so far).
I think it would be an expensive proposition to reproduce these, and for the cost, not sure the market is there.
There are already inexpensive aluminum single-lens holders on the market for both 13" & 15" lenses.
