Hi all, I have located a 1920s shed gas station for sale, but I am trying to get an idea on value and a realistic price. I saw a restored Polly gas station on Ebay (#280189056574), but this one is square and would need restoration. It is just the building, no awning. Any ideas of what I should pay would be great! It's about 10 by 10. Has a roof and sides with most of the glass, needs a front door. I would move it with a forklift onto a lowboy, which is how it got where it's at. I'll try to get a pic maybe. Thanks for your help!

There is an auction in Redding this weekend,Jan 12th, that has a 8x10 all glass sides station. No canopies, see what it sells for. http://www.grandcentralauctions.com/a_1-12-2008.htm

Also, we just found out there is a $3500 reserve. What do you think of that?

Maybe its just me but I think its cool and all but mostly windows. Can you hang signs on it? Can you store stuff in it? To display stuff inside I guesse. Good for growing plants.I mean I know theres a much deeper meaning to it but for me it wouldnt be practical for what they have the reserve set.Just my .02 Thanks

Most collectors don't have the room for something like it.
Will your city/community let you place it on your property as a usable building ? Will it require a permit ? All thing must be looked into before bidding.
Personally I don't think it'll sell for $1800.

Well, we ended up missing the auction, but it sold, for either the reserve or slightly over! I am amazed and in Redding at that!
