Just wondering what price to ask, for what I believe to be a twin base that came with this pump?
Then I need to find a regular base for it !
Thanks

I'd build up the inside of that base then have 2 castings made & look for another pump to complete the Twin, IF I was into 50's pumps.
There are probably 200-400 singles out there for every Twin that survived.

That's a lot work considering double Bennett shorts are not all that uncommon. You can find one for $1000.00 - $1500.00 complete.

You should be able to get a standard base for $50.00 to $75.00. I think that double base is probably worth around $125.00-$150.00.

Yeah OK...good luck with that one Dave. Take a long hard look out there and see if you can find more than one right now, and that doesn't include the pair on eBay at 4K unfinished.

You find me complete sets at 1500.00 and I'll buy them all! Took a lot for me to find this set, and they were nowhere near cheap, nor were they easy to find.

GasCan
We have the same problem, we live to far north of hte border to find pumps at cheap prices. I see the prices for the pumps here and I think of what the same pump would go for locally. I am considering a trip through Montana and possibly the Dakots in the fall to find smome pumps. Maybe go to the Left Coast to see if Dave is in a selling mood.

Looking for Canadian Imperial and Canadian North Star.

Has nothing to do with luck; everything to do with location.

GasCan I have 5 double electrics at home and base my estimate on that. He's in Washington State, you have to consider that and I know that market pretty well. Calgary prices are useless to a person in Washington especially when replying to his post.

Less than a month ago you were new to this and now you are wanting to correct me. Takes longer then a month to learn values of items. I get a kick out the value section sometimes when newbies start posting values.

I've been wrong and guarantee that I'll do it again. But I'm not wrong on this one.
