This is a collection I started when I was 13, and 13 years later, this is what I have. No Pump plates or signs thus far, but those will soon follow.

Texaco began releasing the trucks in 1984, and the planes in 1992. I don't have everything yet, but am working to fill the holes. These are all banks, aside from the bears, and the pilot log book.

Hope you enjoy, let me know what you think.

That is a nice collection, I love all the planes.
I see there are no small children around your house. (open shelves) If you anticipate collecting any of those in future, I would suggest from personal experience, locking glass display cases.... smile

Actually the #1 and #2 are on ebay all the time. Prices have dropped on those. Back in the day a #1 Texaco truck would sell for $1000. Now they are between $200 and $300 mint in a box.

I've got a 3 year old and another one coming in August. They shelves are about 4.5 to 5 feet up the wall. Since I'm in the army, Nicer larger enclosed displays take up a lot of room and weight, and I never know the size of a room wherever I get relocated. But the enclosed will also reduce the dust. I've had ideas of building some rotating displays too. Thanks for the comment chuck.

As far as the Trucks, I JUST got the #2 Mack Bulldog last week for $73. This week they're going for $100. The box was still taped (not replaced tape) and had never seen the light of day. I took it out, because I like to enjoy my collection, but decided to just leave it in the plastic (lower left hand corner of the picture). Its perfect. The #1 Model T will have to wait :-(

Adam;
Thank you for your service to our country.

A tip that helped me. I bought several duplicates to my collection that I found cheap at flea markets and let my grandsons play with those when they come over. They don't bug me as much to play with the others in my display case.

Chuck, that comment made me laugh. That's a great idea, give the kids a reason to play with something else.

Thank you for your gratitude as well, it's my pleasure.
