literally, found this sign buried in the woods. hiking around the edge of a large rock quarry in western MN looking for old steel,refuse, etc. saw a tiny bit of porcelain sticking out of the ground and pulled this shop hanger out under 6" or so of dirt. hiked out w/ it over a mile, roads and quarry have been closed for 40+ yrs.. farmer torch cut it to fit a grain auger, was attached to a metal box and rusted 55g drum. mad

still can't believe I found it, FTW!!




cleaned up in my shop.

That sign shows patina. I found a quaker state like that. Yours is allot cooler then mine!! NICE FIND!!

Nice find...what did you clean it with? Came a lot nicer than I would have guessed judging by the first picture..Nice find..welcome...

washed off w/ a old sock in the water that collected in the back of my pickup after a rain. why whats best?

I have found 4 old porcelain signs out in the woods in the last 3 years. Makes hiking all that more interesting.
