...they didn't make Coke buttons in 1931 - it's not a date, just a code for Coke or the sign company...not sure about the 1954 'date', but that's at least during the time they were used...


Looking for better Gulf items: signs, globes, cans and paper - especially porcelain Gulf flanges, and Gulf A-38 & A-62 ad glass...

The big button is 36" and says AM 13.

The small button is 24"

"AM" is for the Allen Morrison company (now out of business) that made only painted signs.

The first number is the month and the second is the day of the month. They were made in the 50's only.
