Hello all! I am trying to collect stuff for my 50s gulf gastation replica.So far i have 2 pumps,huge pole sign,few smaller signs and big beauttfull gulf porcelain letters. wich is quite nice but i would prefer one with porcelain sign,this one is painted. Am i looking for something wich i wont never see? How much are racks with porcelain sign?

If you've never seen one a with porcelain sign how do you know they had them? that rack is a nice one, holds 12 cans 1/2 case,

Hello Dwaine!

Well i have been surfing at web like mad.Here www.oldgas.com you can see porcelain GULFLUBE rack sign! So there must be somewhere oilracks with porcelain racksigns too. What do you think?

How in earth can this be such a fun at playing with old gas stuff?!??!?!?

Typical of the 1950's are the oil racks made by Bennett Pump Co. and Modern Equipment. They have inserts for any type of sign, some have a glass sign (with a light behind) and some are plain. They are shown in my Gas Pump Identification Book on pages 85 & 222-223.
