If any of you ever get to Ghana, Africa don't miss the port markets there, they are lined and built from old american signage and you'll see the rarest signs in flawless condition as the roof of stand selling BBQ Bat on-a-stick.. unforgettable

Awful reproduction, not that there is such a thing as a good reproduction.

Back in the teen's thru 40's labor here was so cheap & shipping soo slow, why would U.S. oil companies have signs made overseas?
For Foreign operations signs were made close to where signs were going to be used.
Today as back then companies did/do take Pride in signs that promoted their images. Why do you think so many sign rejects are found around Coshocton & Covington, Ohio?

No....sign is real. it is old original sign. It is a foriegn made sign for foriegn market. This fellow, like a lot of foreigners selling foriegn signs on Ebay, dont realize that there is near zero intrest in this stuff here in the USA.
see me at Mason Dixon Gas, Spring Carlisle M114-115, and Hershey C4E-35.
