Thanks to all of you who shared in their knowledge with me. I gave my dad the finished pumped on the weekend of the Peotone show. My grandfather opened his Sinclair station with his brother in 1935. He ran a Sinclair station until 1942. He was lured away from the station to work on the pipeline with Sinclair as a field mechanic and then later as a welder. He retired with ARCO (which I am sure you know bought Sinclair in 1969) in 1980. Here are the pictures of the finished Bennett pump. The Sinclair hat I picked up off a military collector. Whoever had this hat definitely had a small head. Thanks again!
