Has anyone done up a pump in Grizzly Gas that they could post some pictures of? I've got a set of lenses and decals and am thinking of doing my next pump in Grizzly. Also, does anyone know what if any ad glass design was originally on these pumps? I'm going to have Jim Treadway make something up.

Thanks
Chris

Chris:

Do you have the old-style reproduction 13.5" lenses? Or originals?

'Cuz I got great looking Grizzly 15" lenses now.

Later . . .

I've got 13.5" lenses that were part of a limited run that Pergl did for some client, I happened to get one of the couple sets they had leftover. I plan to put them on a glass wide body.

Chris:

Those will look good on a wide glass body.

But - those are the not-so-detailed-bear version aren't they?

The bear on my lenses has as much detail as the (very rare) Grizzly Pump Plates.

Either way, I cah help you out with ad glass or decals.

Later . . .

Jim

Forgive my ignorance but what does "Dubbs Cracked" mean on the Grizzly brand globes and signs?

Jim,

I'll have to take a look at them, they're packed away right now. If anyone's got any pictures of old grizzly gas pumps, particularly with ad glass, please shoot them my way.
