Went to pick up my my wayne 70 yesterday and Took the back roads home found this little guy. Just a cool find. In front of a abandoned general store type place. its cool that the pump is important enough in this town to offset the new curb they were putting in around it.

My wife and I were going across rt 20 from atlanta headed to charleston and cut off and took a side trip and saw this same pump about 10 yrs ago.It looks a little worse now and it looks like they took down some trees and redid the sidewalk.I think I have a picture of it at that time,I'll look over the weekend.Bill

I wish they hadn't have installed the "Funky" modern crbing . Allowing the G & B to be seen from the street held to it's origional concrete slab is much more in keeping with the overall archecturial signifigance of that building ............ Ed Shaver

Its a forgotten little town i dont know what the new curb and sidewalk is about. Its not in kingston. This was out back still hooked up.

That sharp cornered curb is gonna blow out many a tire. Theyll be cussing that pump out.

Nobody really parks or get out there those buidlings in the picture are the whole town.

It cant be bought yet 85 year old woman owns the town more or less and its been there forever she says. Its in my territory when its available i will try to buy it.

I bet the curb and sidewalk was part of the U.S. government stimulus employment program.

Yes we had a wonderfull conversation about her dAds store. And all the differnt pumps that were there and the changes in the times. But that pumps been there 60 years and its fine right where it is she says. And i think shes right.
