well the weather is finely getting nice an i went out an got a building permit so i can build a 1950's standard station finely got the old garage tore down so i just wanted to say R.I.P to the old garage an by that i mean ROT IN PEACE LOL just gotta finish cleaning up the mess an i can get ready to pour an slab an soon as the snow melts !!

Just remember its in a better place now. Hopefully it served you well for many many years.

For future reference, the old siding on that shed would probably have brought good money from crafters in your area. It may seem crazy but stacked on a pallet my wife would have offered you good money for the siding. She makes signs and frames out of it and calls it barn wood. In the summer I get to tear down old farm graineries when she finds farmers that don’t want them.

problem with old barn wood is you need the ability to kiln kill (at least I think that's how they do it) the wood boring beetles or you bring them into peoples homes... I see a bonfire in that sheds future! If I lived near I'd bring over marshmallows and hotdogs and a pot for hot cider...

A can of gas & a match along with the fire dept standing by would've been a good controlled burn exercise for the rookies.

I think some of that wood would make a great general store front on the wall in some bodys garage.
