I'll be there. I collect more that gas stuff, and I think this is the best show in the world (at least that I've been to).

Always the cool/unique/interesting stuff that shows up!

PS - If you haven't been before, this is a show that truly begins around 5 AM, sometimes earlier on Friday. Then at 7 AM it's a whole new show inside. It's worth the $50 to get in early on Friday (but you can shop free outside early), or comeback on Saturday/Sunday.

A lot of the dealers don't set up outside, or offer things that they didn't display outside. It's constantly moving.

I plan on going next year, it will be my first time to attend.

So from what I am hearing is the eraly Friday morning parking lot sale the best value? Are the prices more reasonable?

I want to get a clear understanding of what to expect before I drive up there from Houston. Any tips are appreciated-Im going for jukeboxes and arcade games.

Stay at Pheasant Run in the hotel. You will not have to go anywhere. Plenty of shops and plenty to buy. Get out early in the parking lot. Years ago vendors simply opened up their vans across the street and sold out of the back. There was some controversy about this. It is the best show for everything. You will see stuff there that you will never see again. Have fun and good luck. Dave Jones

There's a guy that brings Movie props.
Both big & small industrial stuff. Some things you recognize, and some you don't.
I keep telling him to bring the original JAWS shark someday, and he tells me if that ever happens,it would set a record for attendance.

Ryan, I've gone twice a year (April and November) for over 20 years. November show is usually a little better than April IMO (everyone out shopping all summer). Dress warm! Never know what weather will be like. I had my Carrhart and stocking cap on early this past Friday morning. Bring a flashlight and a handful of money, and I bet you will keep coming back like I have. I love it as you never know what you are going to find. Friday morning is definitely the time for bargain hunting as many things will sell quickly. Don't forget to go to Ginos East and get some deep dish Pizza!
