too bad corner cut off

I googled it and found one that sold on auction 12.18.2011 for 5300.00 http://www.greatestcollectibles.com/sign...ded-value-5300/

somebody else posted a very rough one on oldgas in the past

If the piece was NOT missing, it would be a $5000+ sign, but when you cut off a corner like that, its almost like breaking a globe lens! Value would have to be anyones guess.

Kevin is right on, a broken globe lens is a great analogy to this sign. To most people this sign is worthless, whatever you pay for it you better like it. It's not only missing that big chunk but the entire frame work of the sign has been cut on 3 sides!

I bet there were a lot of rare signs used as patch panels back in the day.

I like it! It is a cool and rare sign, but as Kevin said, it is like a broken lens, but I have four of them laugh. Is it yours? Just wondering.

What are the dimensions of that sign please?
Someone was selling a smaller than the original decal of that sign on eBay a while back. That was 18"x12"
VERY cool sign!!!!

Randy, you just keep amazing me with your collection. Every time a sign is discussed here it seems you have a super nice example of it. Thanks for sharing them with us.
