Hello all! Time again to show pics of the Petro artifacts that you've come across in your travels around the country.im hoping that with the advent of spring,we will all be getting out and about a little more, and finding new things to post! These pics are from a couple of weeks ago up near the cabin.
Still some 76 balls out there! This one is west of Adams/ Friendship,WI

On the way home,we stopped at the Lake Delton Sinclair station.i always love stopping here!

Kinda scary the way his eyes follow you around!

Hopefully,I'll get to do a little more traveling with the better weather.so post em,if ya got em!, thanks

Those painted over signs now are to me what a surprise in the Cracker Jack box was to me as a kid , that one has a bonus looks like . Any guess from anyone what brand it could be?

The large sign is most likely a Texaco as that is a Texaco banjo pole. But, if the station had been rebranded then it's just a guessing game. The 30" round would be neat to know what it is.

The 30 incher could be this one. It is exactly what I pictured when I saw the sign.

I saw this Pure station converted to a bank today in Geneva IL with the service bays converted to drive thru units. If you look close they have an original Pure sign in the lobby.

THAT IS SOOO COOL!!! That makes me so happy that they took the time to repurpose it in such a way that it preserves history and is able to be used in todays age in a very functional way.
Looks like they used a pure sign with a repainted middle part on the outside of the bank,,, and maybe cut a original pole down?

...very cool, and neat idea with the drive-thru bays...regarding the sign, they probably just copied the sawtooth graphics from Pure's logo and made a new one...

Looking for better Gulf items: signs, globes, cans and paper - especially porcelain Gulf flanges, and Gulf A-38 & A-62 ad glass...

This station was a nursery for a few years. Glad the bank didn't tear it down!

Mark, on the Pure station/ bank....I'm not sure you caught it, but look in the big front window of the bank and on the back wall is the sign he was refering to. My bad if you already noticed.
