Instead of doing the lime green color that everyone is doing for polly now,I want a darker green color.I like the green that is on the wayne 866 in the pictures section of oldgas.Does anyone know who owns this pump or have any info on the paint code, greatly appreciated. In the meantime I will check the paint books.

Thanks for the compliments guys.

Unfortunately, this little Lubester is part of my personal collection and Not for Sale. LOL

This is a PPG color. I purchased it in DCC which is catalized Base Coat/Clear Coat, but your counter-person should be able to give you this color in any type of paint you desire. The code is DCC 45244 Olive Green.

Make sure to get the spec sheet for whatever type of paint you purchase along with any necessary additives/catalyst/reducers.

Later . . .

Jim

I used T-way's paint code to do my POLLY
pump.If you want to take a peek look under
show case 2/26/06 (jerry'spolly pump).
Mine looks a little duller I think
I was using to bright a light when I took
the pic's.

I like Seth's green too. I've been looking for a green for my Polly BOWSER. Lots of nice Pollys out there. http://www.oldgas.com/shoptalk/ubb/Forum4/HTML/000955.html
Good luck deciding on just one...better do 2 or 3, sslick.

The A-38 does look good but still on the lime green side to much for me.It seems every pump is different with the curves and lines. This is my keeper and I want it to be pretty nice.Tways color hit the spot, looks more original. The flat sides are going to have to be broken up a little also.Well see how my imagine can work.
