Kevin, I really like the chrome on the corners. Really sets it off.

Upper corners came back from the chrome shop yesterday and I took the time to install them tonight!
Next item is the globe holder and it will take some time because it is a recast and needs some fine tuning to make it fit right.
I still need the correct light socket if anyone has stumbled across any? Hope--Hope??

Kevin that pump just sparkles and shines light right back at you. Love the Deco look and the restoration. As the Brits say-It's brilliant. Would look good in any room of the house but especially the garage.

Yes - Absolutely beautiful. Nothing more beautiful than new chrome - and that pump has more than my Cadillac.

Great Resto.

I think this statement sums up my feelings on why these old pumps will always have a collector's market and will be appreciated for generations to come. The Wayne 60, the Erie 50 and 53, display pumps, etc....we will never see this much style again, unfortunately. Look at the computers/pumps we have to stare at these days while filling up compared to these beauties. There IS no comparison!

I was looking through a different "Old Stations" photo thread (not the Old Gas one) member Randy Studer sent me a couple days ago. With each subsequent photo, the thought going through my mind was "where did our style go?". Those Art Deco stations from the 20's and 30's are just amazing, as was much of the advertising of the first half or so of the 20th century.

Beautiful job so far Kevin....thanks for preserving this amazing pump for future generations to enjoy. I can't wait to see the "finished product"!
