Well Ive been out of this site for awhile due to medical issues. Last year my grandaughter with a learners permit decided to drive into a cement building wall, of course I was the adult passenger and Im not built like a rubber band at 65 yrs. old. Im also dealing with a shoulder tear but it didnt stop me from a total bebuild of a badly neglected forgotten Erie 77 (circa 1947). I blasted all paint and conducted a lot of time with body tools and prepping for my paint layout. I thought since the 77 has such tall bulbous doors I stenciled out a totem pole like design to flow into the Mohawk decal. I went with red and black Urethane followed with three coats of hi glamour clear. I was lucky the porcelain faces were good and the s.s. ribbed bases pollished like new. About two and a half months of on and off labor that I thought I would share with you. Might be too much of a wow factor for some, but it sure jumps out at you from the rest of my pumps. Ive always liked this symbol brand and remember one here in Reno back in the day. Roger

WOW, that looks great. It reminds me of the early Richfield with the ribbon painted on around the decal.

Haven't seen Roger posting much lately. In the picture he has posted, he's using a 13 1/2 " capco. By the way, if you see this Roger, the pump came out great.

Thanks for commenting Jim.

It's always a difficult making a decision when there are so many choices of brands, and size...
