Not nasty at all, how can you sell a bunch of stuff without picture or otherwise. If there was going to be pictures then just say pictures later or have as other have done before have someone help you.
Now this is dragging it out to a different kind of post.

From an outsider, I agree with Craig. If you have something to sell should show a picture or describe what you have. If you give me a phone number; I am not ordering pizza. I would hope to see if your forum lets this go through.

When Dave Parr was selling his collection... Dave and Linda sent me group photos to post and they had a list of what they had and prices. Works the best!

If your unsure what a sign or pump is worth then just ask in the value section! You should have your signs priced FIRST before you sell yourself short if your unsure of pricing!
Also if you need help posting pics just send them to me....Ill gladly post them for you...
signchaser@comcast.net
PS: I know a guy that sold several signs from his collection. He thought he priced them high to sell, then sold them. He then watched his signs bring 25K on ebay after only asking 4K for all...LOL
Good luck with your sales...

I have no problem with this thread. I called the number in the original post and asked Kevin what he had for sale he told me what was for sale and gave me prices. I then asked for pictures which were supplied and I was able to purchase a nice pump at a fair price. It all boils down to following directions.

Oldgas.com has a policy of allowing a seller to offer things his way as long as it follows our Membership Agreement and Forum Guidelines.

Some ways go smoothly. Other ways get some people frustrated.

Posting pictures with prices and descriptions seems to work the best to me. Some don't want to do it that way. Buyers who are motivated will do whatever it takes to work out the deal they want.

In no way were we trying to bend your rules and policies. We didn't mean to cause such chaos. Please remove our post. All items have been sold. Thank you

Looks like the ad got the desired results and without pictures.
Congrats to IJH and to those that did it his way and were able to add to their collections.
